The third annual Dental VIP (Venture, Innovation & Partnering) Summit will be held February 24, 2027, in Chicago, bringing together dental professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, dental service organization (DSO) leaders, and industry executives to discuss emerging technologies, clinical innovation, and strategic partnerships in dentistry.
Scheduled for the day before the Chicago Dental Society’s Midwinter Meeting, the summit will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, presentations from emerging companies, and networking opportunities. The program will address the evolving roles of artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies, and investment in dental care delivery and practice operations.
The 2027 summit will be co-chaired by Marty Jablow, DMD, president of Dental Tech Advisors; Jeremy Krell, DMD, MBA, managing partner of Revere Partners; and Mariya Filipova, managing partner of the 4100 Group. The co-chairs represent clinical, investment, and healthcare innovation perspectives.
“Technology earns its place in dentistry when it helps clinicians deliver better care,” Jablow said. “The summit brings clinical voices into the conversation early, helping innovators understand what practices need and what makes a new solution worth adopting.”
A central focus of the summit will be the process of evaluating, developing, and implementing new dental technologies. Discussions will examine how clinicians, investors, and industry partners can collaborate to assess the clinical relevance, practical applications, and potential adoption of emerging solutions.
“Dental entrepreneurs need more than funding to build sustainable businesses,” Krell said. “They need a clear market opportunity and the right partners. We’re bringing those perspectives together to help promising innovations move toward adoption.”
The preliminary agenda includes sessions addressing how DSOs evaluate and integrate new technologies, the convergence of medical, dental, and digital health, and the role of corporate innovation and strategic partnerships. Additional topics will include advances in AI, diagnostic technologies, digital workflows, and practice management technology.
“Dentistry has an opportunity to play a larger role in connected, whole-person care,” Filipova said. “By bringing dental, medical and digital health leaders together, we can identify partnerships that make that vision practical for patients and providers.”
Registration is open, with a $100 early registration discount available through December 17, 2026. Special registration options are available for practicing dentists and groups of three or more.
