Premier Dental Products Company has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with Forward Science for PerioStōm®, an FDA-cleared, non-drug oral wound dressing. Under the agreement, Premier will serve as the exclusive US distributor of PerioStōm®, making the product available to dental professionals nationwide.
PerioStōm® is intended for use following periodontal procedures and is designed to support gingival healing and patient comfort. The product uses chitosan microspheres, a biocompatible polymer, and is applied directly into the periodontal pocket, where it forms a bio-adhesive protective barrier intended to help shield vulnerable tissue from irritation and trauma.
The product can be incorporated into existing periodontal treatment protocols, including scaling and root planing (SRP). Its delivery system is designed to facilitate consistent placement within standard clinical workflows.

PerioStōm® was developed through several years of research and product development. As part of the distribution agreement, Premier and Forward Science will collaborate on clinician education and efforts to increase awareness of the product among dental professionals.
