Solventum has named Parag Kachalia, DDS, global clinical evidence director, digital platform, a role focused on clinical evidence strategy for the company’s digital dental solutions. Kachalia joined the company September 15.
Kachalia brings 25 years of experience in clinical practice, academia, and dental technology strategy. Most recently, he served as head of clinical practice at Overjet and chief clinical officer of Seattle Study Club.
Previously, Kachalia held a tenured faculty appointment as associate professor and vice chairperson of simulation, technology and research at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He has also been named to Incisal Edge’s 32 Most Influential People in Dentistry.
In his new position, Kachalia will draw on his experience in academia, clinical practice, and artificial intelligence integration as Solventum develops digital workflows intended to support diagnostic accuracy and clinician decision-making.
