The Chicago Dental Society (CDS) will introduce a Digital Pass for its 2027 Midwinter Meeting, scheduled for February 25 through 27 at McCormick Place West in Chicago. The meeting will also feature changes to its scientific program, including additional workshops, learning pathways, wellness programming, and a partnership with The Pankey Institute.
The new Midwinter Meeting Digital Pass will provide unlimited access to recorded educational sessions, including eligible on-demand content offering up to 94.5 potential continuing education credits. The pass can be added to an in-person registration or purchased separately by individuals who do not attend the meeting.
“The Midwinter Meeting is built by and for the dental industry. We at the Chicago Dental Society care deeply about this experience and set out to make it a meeting you'll find easy to navigate and really enjoy attending,” said Victoria Ursitti, DDS, 2027 CDS president. “Last year, we made enhancements to improve our incredible Exhibit Hall. This year, we are taking this innovative approach to the scientific program. More than 50% of our program features speakers who are new to the Midwinter Meeting, providing attendees with fresh perspectives, more hands-on workshops and educational content you won’t want to miss.”
The 2027 scientific program will include more than 240 courses presented by 149 speakers. More than half of the program's speakers will be new to the Midwinter Meeting. Programming will include 53 workshops with simulation and experiential learning, curated learning pathways, wellness programming addressing health, ergonomics, and career longevity, and courses covering a range of dental topics.

For attendees registering for the in-person meeting, the Digital Pass will cost $99 for CDS or American Dental Association members and $250 for nonmembers. Students and staff members are eligible for an additional discount. A standalone Digital Pass will cost $290 for CDS or ADA members and $490 for nonmembers, and individual course-topic bundles will also be available. CDS members who attend the meeting will receive access to all recordings for 60 days after the event.
The meeting's partnership with The Pankey Institute will include a three-day lecture package providing 24 CE hours, complimentary access to Pankey Online, and the opportunity to attend two live post-course lectures for an additional four CE hours.
The Chicago Dental Society is a nonprofit organization representing dentists throughout the Chicago region and is a local component of the American Dental Association. Its Midwinter Meeting typically draws nearly 25,000 dental professionals annually, according to information provided by CDS.
