New York Implant Institute has added a live online participation option for its two-day implant dentistry courses, allowing registered clinicians to attend lectures and instruction remotely through Zoom.
For online participants, the entire two-day course is broadcast live. A course package that includes models is shipped in advance, allowing attendees to complete a hands-on exercise along with the in-person class. Participants receive the Zoom link before the course.
The next program offered with the online option is Level 2, which addresses immediate implant placement, sinus augmentation, and hard and soft tissue grafting. Topics include case selection and treatment planning, atraumatic extraction and socket preservation, immediate implant placement in anterior and posterior regions, guided bone regeneration, graft materials and membranes, defect augmentation, tenting techniques and platelet-rich fibrin protocols, soft tissue grafting, internal and lateral sinus augmentation, and suturing techniques.
The program also addresses immediate implant placement in single and multiple dentulous sites, management of extraction sites, graft material selection, membrane selection, and considerations for implant placement in infected areas.
The live online course is priced at $1,500 and includes instruction and lectures, hands-on lab participation, access to surgical kits and components, course manuals and materials, lifetime mentorship access, and ADA CERP and AGD PACE continuing education credits.
