Premier Dental has announced the launch of MultiMatch™ Universal Chameleon Restorative Composite, a restorative material designed to simplify shade matching while providing natural-looking and durable results across a range of clinical applications.
According to the company, MultiMatch Universal Chameleon Restorative Composite covers all VITA classical A1-D4 shades using three EZ-Blend shade options: Light, Medium and Dark. Premier Dental said the material combines advanced optical properties with a universal composite formulation intended for use in all cavity classes, including anterior and posterior restorations.
“MultiMatch was developed to help eliminate a time-consuming aspect of restorative dentistry—shade matching—while also delivering the exceptional handling clinicians rely on every day,” said Ann Coyne, product manager, Premier Dental. “Its sculptable consistency gives clinicians control during placement and contouring, while advanced optical properties ensure seamless blending for consistently natural-looking results.”
The company said the product features chameleon blending properties intended to provide shade matching and color stability, simplified shade selection through three EZ-Blend shades that correspond to 16 classic VITA shades, handling characteristics designed to support placement, sculpting, finishing and polishing, and strength and durability intended to resist chipping, fractures and wear.
Premier Dental stated that MultiMatch Universal Chameleon Restorative Composite was developed to streamline workflows while supporting clinical performance through a combination of material science and a universal composite design.
