Pearl has announced a native integration with Dentrix Ascend, a cloud-based dental platform developed by Henry Schein One. The integration enables AI-assisted radiographic analysis to occur within the existing clinical workflow, allowing findings to be displayed in real time as x-rays are captured.
The use of artificial intelligence at the point of care has often been limited by fragmented workflows, including the need to switch between systems, manually import images, and reconcile findings across platforms. By embedding AI capabilities directly into the practice management environment, the integration is designed to reduce these inefficiencies.

Within the integrated system, radiographs acquired in Dentrix Ascend are automatically analyzed, with AI-generated findings—such as indications of decay, bone loss, root absence, and calculus—displayed directly in the interface. This approach removes the need for separate logins, additional software windows, or manual data transfers, while maintaining clinician oversight of diagnostic decisions.
