VideaHealth has announced a rebrand to Videa, alongside an expansion of its artificial intelligence platform to include independent dental practices. The platform, currently used by approximately 90,000 clinicians across North America and widely adopted among large dental service organizations, is now being positioned for broader use across practice types.
The updated branding reflects a stated focus on reducing operational complexity in dental settings, while supporting diagnostic workflows, documentation, and patient communication. The company indicates that the platform is intended to streamline routine processes and allow clinicians to allocate more time to direct patient care.
“After years of supporting upper mid-market and enterprise dental groups, we're excited to bring the capabilities we’ve built to independent practice owners,” said Florian Hillen, founder and CEO of Videa. “We stay close to the challenges practices face every day, anticipating what’s next so we can continue delivering impactful innovation. Our goal is to remove the daily complexity that gets in the way of great care and help teams focus more fully on dentistry.”
According to the company, the platform integrates multiple functions—including diagnostic support, clinical documentation, insurance verification, and claims processing—within a single system. The approach emphasizes reducing workflow fragmentation and improving usability at the point of care, rather than introducing additional standalone tools.
Videa reports that its platform is built around three primary principles: simplicity in daily use, interoperability across systems, and ongoing development of AI-driven capabilities. Features include automated charting, ambient clinical documentation, and real-time operational analytics designed to support both clinical and administrative decision-making.
The company states that practices using the platform have observed measurable workflow and operational impacts, including improved case acceptance, time savings in documentation, and reductions in claim denials. Additional tools highlighted include systems for visual diagnostic support, daily scheduling and workflow oversight, and automated insurance eligibility verification.
As part of the rebrand, Hillen will also share a video message outlining the company’s development and its expanded focus on supporting independent practices.
“With this expansion, Videa is giving practices of every size the support needed to reduce complexity across the day and deliver better care. We’re excited to see practices across the country benefit from a simpler, more connected workflow,” continued Hillen.
