SuperMouth has announced the launch of the Ultim8 SmartBrush System Ortho-Edition, an electric toothbrush designed for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. The system is engineered to address oral hygiene challenges associated with braces and aligners. It incorporates patented SuperBristles Ortho, designed to clean around orthodontic appliances.
According to the company, the brush cleans up to 60 times more effectively around braces than a manual toothbrush. The bristles were developed after scanning thousands of teeth with braces and are designed to adapt to contours by wrapping around brackets and attachments, while PBT filaments provide three times more bristles than standard brushes.
The device includes the Ultim8 SmartHub, which functions as a charging, storage, and sanitization unit. The SmartHub features a built-in UV sanitizer that eliminates 99.9% of germs in five minutes and dries the brush between uses.
The product was developed by Dr. Kami Hoss, founder of SuperMouth and orthodontist of over 30 years. He identified limitations in traditional toothbrushes related to effectiveness, safety, and hygiene.

The system includes four sonic modes—Ortho, Super, Sensitive, and Smart—allowing users to adjust brushing based on needs; the Ortho mode is intended for braces and aligners, while the Smart mode adapts to brushing pressure in real time. A pressure sensor provides visual feedback to help prevent over-brushing. The system also includes three replaceable orthodontic brush heads.
Additional features include a SmartTimer that signals two-minute brushing duration with 30-second quadrant intervals; a waterproof design; and multiple charging options, including wireless charging and an adaptive base charger. The Travel SmartCase includes a UV sanitizer, rechargeable battery, and compartments for travel-sized oral care items.
The Ultim8 SmartBrush System Ortho-Edition is available in two configurations, one including the SmartBrush, SmartHub, and Travel SmartCase, and another with the SmartBrush and SmartHub. The system is offered in Sapphire Blue, Pearly White, and Rose Gold.
