vhf and the Ivoclar Group have expanded their partnership with the validation of additional vhf milling machines for processing IPS e.max CAD. According to a press release from vhf, the collaboration builds on vhf’s existing authorization for IPS e.max CAD, which began in 2024 with the N4+ wet milling machine.
Beginning in November 2025 the Z4 and the E4 will also be authorized for producing fully anatomical restorations from IPS e.max CAD with PrograMill holders. The companies state that the authorization supports coordinated workflows for restorations involving aesthetics, strength, and durability.
vhf and Ivoclar have also extended their cooperation to materials. According to the press release, purchasers of a vhf milling or grinding machine will receive a country-specific voucher for an Ivoclar CAD/CAM material starter package, including training for the practice team in the clinical process.
The companies state that their partnership combines vhf milling and grinding machines with Ivoclar materials, noting that the collaboration supports the production of dental restorations. According to the press release, this includes results that “patients can enjoy for a long time to come.”
