The integration allows labs to submit cases for both CAD design and physical fabrication through one unified platform, without needing to manage multiple systems or communication tools. Evident states that this consolidation aims to improve continuity, reduce administrative overhead, and streamline communication between labs and their outsourced partners.
The partnership comes at a time when US-based labs are re-evaluating overseas outsourcing options. Many have reported challenges with fabrication partners in China, citing longer turnaround times, inconsistent quality, and added costs from tariffs. These issues have increased the need for alternate sources that can offer more stability and flexibility.
