Planet DDS has announced the expansion of its DentalOS partner ecosystem to include new API integrations and consulting support. The additions—Mango Voice, Voicify, and Thinc Forward—are intended to provide dental service organizations (DSOs) and multi-location practices with increased flexibility in customizing their cloud-based technology infrastructure.
According to Planet DDS, all new API partners are subject to a security and technical review process designed to meet privacy, interoperability, and performance requirements. The company states that this approach supports its goal of replacing legacy dental systems with a secure, modern software ecosystem.
“The expansion of DentalOS is a prime example of how Planet DDS is providing more choice, deeper integration capabilities, higher security standards, and expert support to optimize operations with confidence,” said Eric Giesecke, CEO of Planet DDS.
Expanded Telephony and Voice Integration
Mango Voice, a cloud-based VoIP service provider for dental practices, is now integrated with both Denticon and Cloud 9, the two practice management systems offered by Planet DDS. The integration represents one of the first comprehensive telephony solutions across both platforms.
“As one of the first to build deep integrations with Planet DDS, Mango Voice is thrilled about the powerful opportunity this partnership brings to both the dental and orthodontic spaces,” said Kevin Tallman, CEO of Mango Voice. “This collaboration represents a significant leap forward in providing comprehensive and seamless solutions for these specialized communities.”
Voicify, which specializes in voice AI technology for healthcare, has also joined the DentalOS ecosystem.
“Our partnership with Planet DDS underscores Voicify’s commitment to transforming patient interactions through secure, deeply integrated voice AI,” said Jeff McMahon, CEO of Voicify. “Leveraging Denticon’s industry-leading platform, we’re enabling dental providers to significantly enhance patient experience, operational workflows, and data protection.”
Consulting Services and Technology Support
Thinc Forward, a long-time IT support provider for Planet DDS software solutions, has become a certified reseller and technology consultant under the DentalOS program. The company has also expanded its offerings by becoming an authorized reseller of Apteryx cloud imaging software.
“We’re proud to collaborate with Planet DDS to support the success of its users—enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening security, and driving growth for dental practices through innovative technology,” said Dan DiOrio, CEO of Thinc Forward.
Platform and Compliance Standards
Planet DDS reports that DentalOS is designed to support the transition away from outdated systems to a cloud-based model tailored for enterprise use. The company states it is the first dental software provider to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 compliance across its full suite of products and organization, positioning the platform to meet evolving security and scalability needs.
