"Many aspects of aligner technology have improved, from innovations in materials to advances in software design. His advice to clinicians?: "Start screening every single patient for orthodontic needs; this will provide a good adjunct to the overall oral health of your patients."

"Start with simple cases, gain an understanding of the software, and then move to more advanced cases gradually," he says.
